Considering WHO has about 8 posters who go to games it won't quite be an empty stadium.

Really vexed. My mate and his 14 year old son have been banned after the Chelsea match with no reason or evidence.

It was only when the FSF got involved that he received an email on how to appeal. It has nothing to do with fans behaving.

Stickle, what you're up against is apathy. The opinions on here represent a minority and truth to tell most game attenders have been relatively unaffected.

You know what, I don't believe that at all Born. I think they probably have an idea why.

My brother has been banned for "anti-social behavior" following the Chelsea game. No mention of what the anti-social behavior was supposed to be.
And then to top it off they've chucked everyone out of block 114 - the seats and section we chose and were sold by the club - and moved to cheaper seats in a different part of the ground.
The club are being fucking pathetic.

They were probably caught doing something on CCTV - from what I've read that's how all the bans were decided upon.

Re: Fans not bans protest v Arsenal
As I said on the yellow cap thread the club have no idea who anyone is, they have just blanket banned people with tickets in that area. This could have happened to any of us and we'd want others to help out.

Not for me to offer advice for those causing trouble, but really isn't the first rule of these things that you can't do it in the stadiums anymore? Precisely because it's all on camera.

On block 114, wasn't that a reorganisation to aid segregation? An absolute pig's ear from the club to have to reorganise like that, but is that really worthy of a protest?

strange that you've been reading up about these bans and how they'e been decided but claim not to know about the grievances supporters are moaning about - that doesn't make sense fella.

V is definitely on a fishing trip

Lots of the cctv will show West Ham fans pointing out the coin throwing chelsea fans so the stewards could go and stop them.

I definitely think standing up for our fans is definitely worthwhile. I would hope that fellow fans would be there for me.

It is literally asking people to go to their seats 30 seconds after kick off to get the message across that things can't continue like they are.

Well I read around the topic of the bans when it came up - pretty normal reaction, and it's easy to find out what the club are claiming on that. As for the grievances, what I want to read or hear about is the evidence of the grievances, and how that squares with the previous complaints that the club wasn't doing enough to stop the violence in the stadium.

We can't complain the club aren't doing enough then complain when they actually take action. Which would broadly be what a protest would be doing.

I think it's maybe a better idea to pursue individual cases of wrongful bans through social media (eurgh) or going to the club directly. Protesting that fans supposedly caught in bad behaviour were banned seems very counter-productive to me.

It's a great idea Bom son, but I see 2 problems here.

1. The owners don't give a fuck. It doesn't change anything. They know what the stadium looks like empty.

2. With some of the yellow bellied cowards on here it won't happen.

Personally I still think everyone should just stand. We KNOW for a fact it bothers them and they don't like it. The idea of a protest for me is to make them take notice. Everyone standing, and thus potentially effecting them not having a bigger capacity will hurt them.

The issues at the beginning was with fans fighting due to the standing issue. That was a problem created by the club (yet again) and everyone obviously wanted this to stop. There were some isolated incidents outside v Bournemouth as there was no segregation or proper policing, and the same v Watford in the upper tier for the same reason.

What has happened since is not what people were asking for. Banning hundreds of fans in an incident where not one punch was thrown is just ridiculous. Surely even you can see that employing cage fighters to evict fans I'd just not on.

There is no need to concentrate on individual cases when fans are being banned en masse and being treated like shit. Asking people to just go to their seats seems like a fairly reasonable request to try and stop this.

Cheers. I just think we need to get something started as we only have two weeks to get the message out. Once everyone is in there, there's nothing stopping people standing to piss them off (I'll be in the BML) so will stand anyway but you know that most in the East and West will just sit.

I think anything that gives the owners bad press or show them up for what they have done they will hate. I agree though I don't think they really care for the fans, especially for those that have been affected.

My mate was banned for an incident at the Warford game he was in Mexico on holiday. Someone sat in his seat he never sold his ticket or gave it away. It bollocks they can ban exact people without real proof just looking at CCTV.

Bom Stickle 2:18 Sat Nov 12
Re: Fans not bans protest v Arsenal
Exactly what happened v Chelsea paolo. Banned for having a ticked in an area more than what fans have done. They may have loads of CCTV but will have no idea who the names of the people on there unless they are well known hooligans. Although some people on here will never believe that has happened.
